Spatial-Temporal Evolution and Influencing Factors Analysis of Ecosystem Services Value: A Case Study in Sunan Canal Basin of Jiangsu Province, Eastern China

The continuing degradation of ecosystem functioning, particularly in areas fast-growing economies, is a common challenge facing humanity today and focus global research on sustainable development. A typical fast-developing economic region Southeastern China, namely Sunan Canal Basin Jiangsu Province (SCBJ), was selected for this study. Based remote sensing monitoring data land use five periods 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2019, the service value (ESV) SCBJ measured using equivalent factor method, spatial temporal evolution ESV analyzed contribution statistical methods. Panel quantile regression employed to explore depth segmental effects influencing factors increase understanding mechanisms. Our results showed following: (1) From 2000 structure stable, comprehensive dynamic degree continuously reduced. There were significant differences single each type, especially built-up land. (2) During study period, total increased first then decreased, with decreasing regions mainly distributed southeast urban rapid expansion both sides canal. (3) In different levels ESV, had impact effects. mean proximity index (MPI), i.e., integrity, enhancement effect at low dampening high region. As points increase, positive annual temperature (ATE), precipitation (APR), net primary productivity (NPP) services gradually which gap between areas, creating “natural Matthew effect”, while negative density (GDP) population (POP) decreased.
